Our precision engineering systems allow us to produce both one-off components and high-volume batches, in a wide range of sizes and manufactured to exceptionally fine tolerances.

Waymouth in action...
Waymouth installs new machine tools on a regular basis, and we've now introduced a new Videos page on our website on which we'll be showing some of the machines in action. First up is our heavy-duty Puma 400 machining a large cast-iron piston, 250mm in diameter. The Puma 400 is ideal for this kind of work, machining hydraulic cylinders and similar components that need to be manufactured from tough materials on a short cycle time.


High-productivity CNC twin-spindle lathe installed...
Waymouth has taken delivery of a Puma TT1800SY twin-spindle/twin turret lathe. This multi-axis turning centre has upper and lower turrets and horizontally opposed spindles, allowing two different operations to be performed simultaneously. The maximum turning length is 230mm on each spindle. You can see this machine in action on our new Videos page.


New production planning software improves efficiency...
Waymouth has installed the Preactor production planning and scheduling system, significant efficiency improvements: 'It's almost as if we've gained two or three more machines,' says Alan Stephenson, Managing Director. Go to our Downloads page for the full story.
